Aberdeen Angus
The breed has long been associated with superb beef, and Linden has supplied Angus products to retailers and food service for many years. While there is a long tradition of using Angus bulls on dairy and suckler cows in Ireland, North and South, it is not as widespread as in other parts of these islands. To meet the growing demand from our customers we established our Aberdeen Angus Club on 1st February 2007 to encourage selected farmers to adopt Angus breeding for part or all of their herds. Over 600 farmers have registered to date.
The Club allows Linden to demonstrate the commitment of forward looking farmers, while also delivering on traceability and DNA verification of breed. Linden is a member of the Aberdeen Angus Society and is proud to support the Society's efforts in promoting the breed to both farmers and consumers.
